Track what you actually work on, every day
mitated turns fifteen seconds a day into a skill portfolio that shows what you can do – backed by what you actually did, not by what your CV claims.
- Free for individuals
- Pseudonymous, no real name
- Fifteen seconds a day
Try it here. No account needed.
This is exactly how it works in the app: pick your skills, split your time, track.
Three steps, then it runs itself
Add your skills
Up to twenty. A skill is anything you work on – Java, tax audits, German lessons, the woodwork club.
Fill today's list
Drag in the skills you spent time on today. Forgot a day? You can go back up to six.
Split your time
By gut feeling, using sliders. No timer, no stopwatch, no bookkeeping.
It becomes your portfolio
Every day you track feeds a public page that belongs to you. It shows how your skills break down over weeks and months – as a ring chart and as a timeline per skill.
Share it or embed it
Link your portfolio from an application, your signature or LinkedIn – or embed the chart straight into your own website.
Tied to where you are
Your address carries a country and area code. Someone looking for tax auditing in Hamburg finds Hamburg portfolios.

You decide what anyone sees
Not every skill belongs in a job interview. That's why your portfolio carries no name, and you release each skill separately.
No real name
Your portfolio runs under a number. Anyone who wants to reach you goes through us – and only if you allow it.
Release skills one by one
Java public, target shooting private. You decide per skill what appears in your portfolio.
One switch for job enquiries
"Open to job enquiries" can be turned on and off at any time. While it's off, nobody contacts you.
For companies: search for skills instead of reading CVs
A CV says "Java: excellent". A mitated portfolio says on how many of the last 90 days Java was actually involved. You search by skill and region, see anonymous profiles and get in touch through us – only with people who have opened the door.
Search by location
Area codes worldwide are covered – from Hamburg to Singapore.
Related terms
Search for "educator" and you'll also find "teacher", "lessons" and "school management".
Only with consent
Contact happens solely through mitated, and only when the switch is on.
And when someone at a conference asks for your number
Store your email, phone number and links once in your settings. On your phone you pull them up as a QR code, the other person scans it, done. No spelling things out, no business card lost in a jacket pocket.
Example – in your account these are your real contact details.
Common questions
What does mitated cost?
For individuals mitated is free, permanently. Only companies pay, and only when they search for skills in a specific region.
How long does tracking take each day?
About fifteen seconds. Drag skills into today's list, move the sliders, track. That's it.
Can my employer see what I track?
Only what you release. Your portfolio runs under a pseudonymous address without your name, and you decide per skill whether it's public.
Is mitated only for IT jobs?
No. A skill is anything you work on – German lessons, tax audits, photography or Java. You create your own skills; there's no fixed list.
Can I fill in past days?
Yes, up to six days back. Deliberately no further – the record should stay close to what actually happened.
What does the name mitated mean?
mitated is an invented word. It stands for the daily act the app is built around: recording what you worked on.
Start today. Tomorrow you'll already have one more day.
Free, no credit card. All you need is an email address and a first skill.
